Welcome to Tiny Acres Doodles! Meet Our Bernedoodle Puppies!

All Pups are now living happily-ever-after in their new homes. Thanks for stopping by!   If we decide to breed again in the future, you can check back here for updates.

Welcome to Tiny Acres Doodles! We are a family who live on a few beautiful acres, surrounded by nature, and we have a passion for the great outdoors. Our love for animals, especially dogs, inspired us to become breeders of Bernedoodles as we adore their intelligence, loyalty, gentle nature, and playful personalities.

Living on our few tiny acres allows us to expose our doodles to all the wonderful experiences that make them such fantastic companions. Whether it is exploring trails, playing with neighborhood children, or simply enjoying life as part of a family, our puppies grow up well-socialized and ready to bring love and joy to their new homes.

At Tiny Acres Doodles, we are committed to raising happy, healthy, and well-adjusted puppies. We take pride in finding the perfect match between our doodles and their forever families, helping you welcome an incredible furry friend into your life!

Meet The Parents

Maisey Roo (the proud mama):

F1 Bernedoodle, 55 Pounds

Maisey is a very smart and gentle companion. She enjoys (LOVES) going for walks, being outdoors (especially in the coldest weather) and getting attention from her people.

Maisey is bell-trained to go outside and can often be found sleeping on her back under her favorite tree or in a random patch of snow (if available). She gets really excited to see her people and will gently place a paw on your lap to ask for attention. She barks warnings when people come to the door, but is not aggressive and calms easily.

According to the DNA results, Maisey is 50% Bernese Mountain Dog and 50% Standard poodle.

Wrigley (the proud dad):

F1 Bernedoodle, 50 Pounds

Wrigley is a friendly and cuddly tri-colored buddy. He loves to be close to his family, go for walks, and watch birds. Wrigley gets along well with kids and is not aggressive towards strangers or other dogs. He is an impressive Bernedoodle with a charming personality, intelligence, and great training. Wrigley comes from health-tested parents and has the best traits of both the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. He knows more than just basic commands—he’s also great with advanced obedience and leash manners. Whether he’s enjoying outdoor adventures or providing comfort at home, Wrigley’s loyal and gentle nature shines through. He truly represents what it means to be a Bernedoodle: loving, smart, and eager to please.

Wrigley’s DNA shows he’s 50% Bernese Mountain Dog, 21% Standard Poodle, and 29% Small Poodle.

Comprehensive DNA Testing for Healthy Puppies

At Tiny Acres Doodles, we confirm genetic compatibility between the puppy parents using DNA testing from EMBARK to ensure the health of our Bernedoodle puppies. This ensures that each puppy is free from genetic disorders and is ready to join your family. Our commitment to transparency provides peace of mind to new puppy owners.

Bernedoodles are excellent family dogs that bring a wonderful blend of traits to the table, making them a popular choice for households of all types. These delightful companions are known for their friendly demeanor and affectionate nature, which makes them incredibly easy to bond with. They thrive on human interaction and form strong attachments to their families, always eager to be by your side.

One of the key features that sets Bernedoodles apart is their love for the outdoors. While they enjoy spending time outside and playing in the fresh air, they tend to be more laid-back and less high-strung than some breeds, such as retrievers. This makes them adaptable to different lifestyles, whether you have a large backyard for them to play in or you live in a cozy apartment. A daily walk or a romp in the park is usually enough to keep them happy and content. Coming from Mountain Dog stock, the Bernedoodle will be content spending a lot of time in the cold weather. In the spring it is not uncommon for a Bernedoodle to find the last patch of snow in the yard as a napping spot.

In addition to their calm temperament, Bernedoodles are incredibly intelligent dogs. Their intelligence makes them highly trainable, allowing them to learn commands and tricks relatively quickly.

This characteristic also means they enjoy mental stimulation making puzzle toys and games will challenge their minds and can be great fun for them.

Furthermore, their friendly nature extends not only to humans but also to other pets. They are usually sociable and can seamlessly integrate into multi-pet households. Their gentle approach makes them wonderful companions for children, and they often become playful partners in their adventures.

Perhaps one of the most cherished traits of Bernedoodles is their love for snuggles and affection. They are known to be lap dogs at heart, relishing every moment spent cuddling with their owners. Their soft, fluffy coats invite you to indulge in some quality snuggle time, making them perfect for those cozy evenings at home.

In summary, Bernedoodles are not just dogs; they are loyal family members who offer companionship, intelligence, and a gentle spirit, making them an ideal choice for families seeking a loving and friendly pet.

Selecting a reputable breeder is key to ensuring your Bernedoodle is both healthy and happy. Responsible breeders prioritize genetic testing to reduce the risk of inherited diseases, investing significant time and resources to screen their breeding dogs and share proof of these results. While this upfront investment may raise the cost of a puppy, it often translates to fewer health issues and lower vet bills over the course of your dog’s life.

Bernedoodles are generally healthier than their parent breeds, but they can still be susceptible to certain conditions. Careful breeding practices and thorough health screenings minimize these risks, giving your new puppy the strongest foundation for a long and happy life.  Maisey and Wrigley have both been tested through Embark and we are happy to share their genetic results with you.

We work with an in-home veterinarian along with other reputable local breeders to collaborate on the latest techniques and practices as well as follow the Puppy Culture breeding regimen to ensure your puppy is healthy, happy and well adjusted. Each puppy will have received worming meds at 2, 4 and 6 weeks.

All puppies will come with vaccinations and will have received a de-worming protocol at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks.

Just like humans, young puppies exhibit character qualities that will likely also be seen in that same adult dog. When picking a dog, it is important to consider your lifestyle, activity level, and the puppy’s temperament.

During their stay at the Tiny Acres home, puppies have been eating a nutritious diet including goat’s milk, raw sirloin and a high quality puppy chow. When you pick up your new friend, we will provide a small amount of puppy food. If you choose not to remain with our food choice, we recommend slowly introducing the new food along with the food they’re used to so as not to upset their sensitive tummies. When you change your food, we recommend high-quality puppy food that meets their nutritional needs.

When you pick up your new friend, we will provide a small amount of puppy food to get you started.

Expose them to various environments, people, and other pets gradually. The younger they are when experiencing new things, the better adapted they will be as adults.

During their stay at Tiny Acres, we have been intentionally introducing them to lots of noises and experiences (vacuums, dropped books, music, brooms and other environmental elements) that come with an active household. This helps to train their nervous system to not react so negatively to unexpected noises and disruptions, making for a more mellow adult dog.

We carefully select our breeding pairs based on health, temperament and lineage. We use DNA results to provide the highest chance for a healthy litter with minimal genetically-passed ailments.
